Partnership with YWCA to establish a Secondary Battered Women’s Shelter. Provided assistance in securing a 20 unit building and coordinated the rehabilitation of the facility. Members assisted with the programming needs of the shelter and developed a volunteer program to help with those needs. ProMedica donated a 3 bedroom home and duplex which were next to each other to use as a shelter.
