As We Grow Diaper Bank

1 in 3 American families experience diaper need. Babies without clean diapers are exposed to more potential health risks and are less likely to be accepted to daycares, leaving parents unable to attend work. According to a study by the National Diaper Bank Network, Ohio has a total of 411,064 members of its population under the age of 3. Keeping these children clean, dry, and healthy is key to building a solid foundation.

Our Community Partners

As We Grow distributes diapers, wipes, and cream directly to community partners. These community partners are direct service agencies that are best equipped to provide the supplies to families that need it most.

Getting to 1

The Getting to 1 diaper bank (a partnership between Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, Hospital Council of NW Ohio, and the Salvation Army) launched in 2015 to assess the greatest need for diapers in the Toledo-Lucas County area. The diaper bank exists to ensure that low-income families in [the Toledo area] and Lucas County have access to clean diapers for their children, while providing education and awareness around diaper need.
