Formed in March 1975 by a lawyer from Advocates for Legal Equality to take on environmental lawsuits, utility rates, product safety, and cost of health care. An office at Toledo Bar Association Headquarters at Commodore Perry Motor Inn was staffed by Junior League of Toledo volunteers and law students.
